U.A. High's super student vs The Anti-Magical 'ass kicker'


This project, albiet done on short time, was handled with as much car as I give any other environment; The process started with a simple stadium, using extrusions and booleans to carve out everything I needed for the stadium. For the scaffolding I cloned specific planes or lines of geometry, moved them to their own object, solidfied them, and then ran them through a wireframe modifier while keeping the original polycount and topology in mind. Overall the effect works well to show supports around the top of the stadium.

The buildings that come up from the ground were generated using a tool in blender, but then modified (both in geometry and materials) to fit what the project needed. Overall the aesthetic wasn't necessarily as important as the functionality of the buildings in question, seeing as how this was a morphing battlefield, that would eventually be destroyed.

After I passed it off, it was sweetened with a crowd system in the stands, which used a UE5 blueprint in conjunction with markers I had left behind for positioning.
